TANTRIC MASSAGE

Tantric massage is much more than sensual massage. It is a high form of ritual touch guided by the principles of traditional Tantra, connecting us to the erotic. Erotic meaning our sense of vitality, desire and the inherent sensuality of our embodied experience.

In this practice you are honoured as a divine being, touched with deep respect, reverence and presence. This creates a space for you to unfold, to surrender and to release emotional blocks, opening yourself to authentic connection and orgasmic pleasure.

WHO IS IT FOR?

It is for you.

Tantric massage sessions are designed to take you on a journey through the physical, emotional and subtle (energy) body in order to experience a sense of wholeness and deep presence with oneself.

The practice can offer healing benefits and the possibility of expanded states of pleasure, but these do not form the central part or goal of the experience.

Your intention guides the practice and what you get out of it, remembering also that intentions are not goals, rather a direction for your journey.

COMMON INTENTIONS

  • Do you offer online sessions?
No, at this stage I only work in person from my private studio in Darlinghurst, Sydney.

New clients are required to book online first. Any subsequent sessions can be booked directly via email or phone.
  • Do you accept cash?
I require a 50% deposit paid when you book online. The outstanding amount can be paid in cash or card.
  • What is Tantric Massage?
Tantric massage is a sensual, full-body massage that brings together a variety of massage styles including classical massage, acupressure, Lomi Lomi, Tao, Ayurveda and bioenergetics intended to liberate your senses and stimulate the flow of Kundalini (sexual, life-force energy). During a Tantric massage your entire body is touched with great presence, including the genitals. This is not to create a sexual experience, but to acknowledge and bring awareness to one's sexual energy as an integrated part of the whole body. Touch, breath and placement of awareness are all used to circulate sexual energy (Kundalini – life force energy) around the body, so that you may feel a sense of pleasure, unity and connection. The massage is performed on a comfortable futon.
  • What are the boundaries of Tantric massage / bodywork?
Tantric massage is an opportunity for you to connect more intimately with yourself rather than the practitioner. While there is an energetic exchange that happens during the practice, there is strictly no mutual touch, intercourse, oral sex or kissing involved in any sessions.
  • Is it ok to reach orgasm during the massage?
Yes you are welcome to orgasm, but it’s important that this is not the goal of the massage. You are invited to let go of performance, your concept of ‘orgasm’ and seeking heightened states of pleasure, and instead surrender to the experience of receiving and become intimately aware of sensations in the body.
  • I want to experience a full body orgasm or multiple orgasms. Will this happen during the massage?
Full-body and multiple orgasms may on occasion arise spontaneously, however the more you chase this, the less likely it is to happen. Letting go of expectations and goals, and instead bringing your presence, openness and curiosity to the session will lead to a far more exciting and expansive experience.
  • How long should I book a session for?
It takes time for the mind and body to fully relax and surrender into the practice so I recommend a 2 hour session for the best experience.
  • Does Tantric massage help with erectile dysfunction, premature ejaculation, difficulty reaching orgasm, painful sex and other sexual difficulties / concerns?
For specific sexual concerns, I recommend exploring Somatic Sexology sessions.
  • How often should I receive Tantric massage?
Tantric massage can be an ongoing practice that you do simply out of love for yourself, with the intention to enrich your life and relationships. If you are experiencing some difficulties in your life or have a specific intention you are wanting to move toward, I recommend weekly or fortnightly sessions to help move stuck energy.
  • Do I need experience to receive Tantric massage?
No! All people are welcome to book a Tantric massage. Tantric massage/bodywork is just as much about relaxation as it is about spiritual or personal unfoldment. If you are a complete beginner and curious to learn more about Tantra, we will spend some time at the beginning of the session discussing basic Tantric philosophy, your intentions and practising specific breathing and mindfulness techniques.
  • Do you offer couples sessions?
Yes! Couples can book the Couples Tantric Massage Experience or if you would prefer to each have your own practitioner, book the Samaya with Two Practitioners or Spanda with Two Practitioners.
  • What oils do you use?
    I use organic coconut oil.
  • How do I prepare for the session?
Once you book you will receive an email with all of the details on how to prepare for your session.
  • Who is the course for?
This training is open to everyone above the age of 18.
  • Do I need Tantra experience?

  • Do I need bodywork/massage experience?
No prior experience in massage or bodywork is required.
  • Is there any nudity involved?
Yes, during Tantric massage practice sessions there will be some nudity involved as the massage is given and received naked. This is to create a feeling of equality between the masseuse and recipient. While this may feel initially confronting, we make every effort to create an atmosphere of safety and respect amongst the group allowing any discomfort, embarrassment or shame you may feel to quickly dissolve.
  • Is this course for men and women?
Yes, this course is for all genders. We endeavour to keep an even balance of men and women as you will be practising in pairs. Women will be partnered with men to practise giving Lingam massage and men will be partnered with women to practise giving Yoni massage.

WHAT TO EXPECT

You will be taken on a journey within through a delightful blend of massage styles, sensations, fabrics, feathers, scents, and sounds designed to liberate your senses, renewing a feeling of connection, sensuality & wholeness. During the massage, you will be touched with great presence, care, respect, and devotion. No part of the body is left untouched.

An essential part of Tantric massage is an attempt to awaken and elevate Kundalini energy. This process infuses the chakras with life and power, renewing vitality and overall wellbeing.

Each session begins with a brief consultation to discuss intentions and boundaries and concludes with a period of integration.

I had tingles in my head as though I could feel the stars of faintly perceived light behind my eyelids. There was a sense of floating, like the boundary of my body had dissolved and I had completely fallen into myself, although without any sense of falling or sunkenness. In this state there was a real sense of depth, as though I was underwater. In that depth I felt in presence with something, a fluid, fuzzy image of some kind of mythical feminine. I was somewhere else in these moments, but also fully present. No thought, no sense of time. It felt like a twilight zone between sleep and wake.

BATH RITUAL

Enhance your experience with an indulgent bath ritual.

Immerse your body in warm, essential oil-infused water blended with minerals and petals that soothe the nervous system, ease body tension, and restore calm and balance to mind, body, and soul. Your skin will be gently exfoliated and cleansed, preparing it for ritual touch. By the end, you’ll feel pampered, nurtured, and ready to journey deeper into your body through the power of touch.

"The bath ritual made me feel like I am the last remaining soul on this earth." - TB

TAN.png
Tantric massage is guided by the principles of traditional Tantra, including the concept of Shiva-Shaki and non-duality.
MEANING OF TANTRA

The word Tantra first appeared in the Vedas, the oldest scriptures of Hinduism originating in ancient India. There are various contextual definitions and meanings of the word Tantra, but it is most commonly understood to mean to weave, to expand or to liberate and is used as a metaphor to describe the weaving together of rituals and practices that make up the Tantras (sacred instructional texts outlining ritual practices for attaining enlightenment).

SHIVA & SHAKTI:
UNITY-IN-DUALITY
NON-DUALITY

The Tantras are often written as a dialogue between a god and goddess. Shiva (god) the divine masculine principle is an embodiment of form, structure and rationality, whereas Shaki (goddess) the divine feminine principle is an expression of the free-flowing, creative and at times destructive nature of existence. Together they represent the polarities of life - the light and the dark, the form and the formless, the rational and the intuitive, the giver and the receiver. Tantric images often depict these deities entwined in yab-yum, representing the primordial union of wisdom (goddess) and compassion (god), and hints at the unity-in-duality. Tantra recognises Shiva and Shaki within each person and part of the practice is cultivating these characteristics within ourselves in order to arrive at a place of inner peace, balance and ultimately, unity.

There are many branches of Tantra including Hindu and Buddhist Tantra, each with their own set of rituals, practices and sacred texts. Underlying the many Tantric traditions is the concept of non-duality or nondualism; the idea that beyond the independence of one from another, or the opposites of the masculine and feminine principles, there is an underlying unity that connects all things. Non-duality sees the divine not as a separate entity, but a unifying force within all things.
